Python Job: Senior Python Developer

For a Swiss company operating in the field of Bioinformatics and Healthcare, we are searchig for a:

Senior Python Developer

Mission:

Reporting directly to the CTO, together with the existing team, is responsible to design, develop and integrate existing and new software components and managing a cloud application.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and develop the back‑end of web applications;
• Maintain and extend existing applications;
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate graphical UI with cloud processing;
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.

Technical requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Python, and Django Web Framework;
• Familiarity with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs;
• Experience in development and integration of AWS applications;
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases;
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process;
• Proficient understanding of Git.

Desirable Skills And Experience:

• Knowledge of GraphQL, Graphene, Graphene-Django, Apollo and Apollo Federation;
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance;
• Experience with cyber security and quality management system certifications.
